Description

Tózé Ferreira‘s “Música De Baixa Fidelidade“, released in 1988 on the Ama Romanta label. Featuring recordings made in The Hague Royal Conservatory in 1988, in collaboration with the American composer Rodney Waschka II, and by António alone in Cascais.

This record has been composed, recorded and produced by António Ferreira in his own studio, Cascais 02/1988, except “More Adult Music” and “This is music, as it was expected”, composed and recorded at the Sonology Institute, The Hague Royal Conservatory during winter/spring of 1987. Sound generation and composition of the pieces produced at Sonology Institute was made using a PDP-11/34 mini computer controlling a DMX-1000 16-bit DSP engine and using analogue techniques. Other pieces were made using the LISP and Forth computer programming languages in an ATARI computer controlling a FM YAMAHA FB-01 synthesizer and an Ensoniq Mirage sampler.
